Gannett Fleming designed a customer information system for Long Island Bus. The CIS provides departure times for buses leaving the Hempstead Transit Center and includes LCD and LED display signs, state-of-the-art touch-screen, Web-based information kiosks, schedule software interfaces, communications networks, and subsystems integration. For this project, our firm developed technical specifications and drawings for CIS procurement and provided a market survey report.
